FLIFLY works in partnership with university, companies, international and local NGOs to strengthen and promote credit unions, sustainable agriculture communities and conduct vocational training skills as effective instruments for socio-economic development of famers in Cambodia. Also, FLIFLY has village beekeepers program to improve sustainable agriculture communities in Cambodia. They are advantage for crops increase products until 20 %. In order to beekeeping for more income effectiveness, we have to study about theory of beekeeping and practice. We have Dr.Zlatko Tomljanovic who is working in Croatian Agricultural Chamber and Dr. Violeta Santrac who is working in Veterinary Institute of Republic of Serpska. They are supreme advisers of FLIFLY to improve village beekeepers program in many provinces of Cambodia. They have experiences as well as knowledge for beekeeping for many years in many countries. Dr. Zlatko Tomljanovic is technical adviser in Croatian Beekeepers Federation and technical adviser in Croatian Agricultural Extension Institute and Dr. Violeta Santrac is expert collaborator, chief deputy on department for Microbiology and infections disease. Also, FLIFLY is collaborating with 1%CLUB to improve village beekeepers programme in Cambodia.

Who should attend?
All people from local or international NGOs, government constitutions, beekeepers, bee hunters, farmers, and others interested people are invited to attend this training. But FLIFLY will provide scholarship 50 % for people from government constitions, local and international NGOs. And provide full scholarship 100 % for poor farmers and hunters who are members of Credit Unions and Sustainable Agriculture Communities that are under promotion by FLIFLY.

Purpose of the course
The core purpose of this special course to improve and build the beekeeping skills to poor farmers and bee hunters while Cambodia in one of the potential places for beekeeping to help poor farmers or private sectors to get more income through the technical skills of beekeeping. So we would like to encourage all NGOs to send the representatives to attend this special training.

Course Contents
This training will be conducted for 2 days.

1. Theorical training:
Day 1
- Bee biology
- Beekeeping technology and tools
- Value-added products
-Apitherapy is for every one

2. Beekeeping practical training:
Day 2
- How do practical work with bees
- Hive of colonies
- Apiary management

Date: From July 28-29, 2017

Place:

- At office of FLIFLY, National road 01, Kandal Krom village, Banteaydek commune, Keansvay district, Kandal Province, Cambodia.

Cost: FLIFLY will cover 50 % of the total training fee below for any interested people who is register before July 24, 2017.
- Theoretical training and practicum US$ 100 US$ 50 for 2 days for per participant that register before July 24, 2017.

- FLIFLY will be providing full scholarship for 5 poor farmers who are members of Credit Unions and Sustainable Agriculture Communities that are under promotion by FLIFLY.

At the end for the training participants will get:

- A certificate will be provided by FLIFLY
- A free handout (English and Khmer Language)
